ABOUT US : Diane Barravecchio, R.D.
Diane Barravecchio is a Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Rutgers the State University of New Jersey. She completed the Dietetic Internship Program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and is certified in Adult Weight Management.
Since becoming a Registered Dietitian, she has worked as a Nutrition Consultant for The Women's Heart Foundation's "Teen Esteem" Program, teaching Nutrition Education classes with interactive Healthy Cooking Lessons at Trenton Central High School. She is on the staff of Clinical Nutritionists at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge and Perth Amboy. Most recently, she has worked with the NJ Dept of Agriculture to create "Wellness Rules in New Jersey Schools" a toolkit for school administrators to facilitate the implementation of the NJ Model School Nutrition Policy.
In addition to practicing in New Jersey, she is also a licensed Dietitian / Nutritionist in the state of Florida where she serves as a consultant to Dynamic Seniors Adult Day Care Center in Zephyrhills. Diane loves working with diverse populations. Her specialty is Children's Health and Wellness. She is creative, engaging, enthusiastic and passionate about her work. Through her effective interpersonal skills and dedication to making a difference in peoples lives she provides clients with individualized or group counseling that includes diet instruction and healthy lifestyle changes.
